• Bali is an island on the edge. Are we going to love it to death? Tourism and hospitality comprises by far the largest sector of our island’s economy. How can tourism in Bali become more sustainable? What is already happening to make tourism here more sustainable? What can we do now to help shift tourism in a more sustainable direction?


  • In Bali, it seems that every day there’s a new restaurant. So, why not join the trend and add a few more?

    In this class, we’re going to create our own warungs. In order to do so, we’re going to learn everything it takes to run a restaurant. We’ll learn how to cook, how to source our food, how to invent recipes, how to design a menu, how to market it, how to create efficient cooking systems and, maybe most important, how to manage and finance it all. We’ll also look into the impact food has on our lives through its effect on our health and our environment. This will help us decide what type of warung we want to create. Be prepare to eat deliciously throughout this course. Oh, and you will be running a restaurant by the end of this class. 

  • Where do I start? How can I make my idea happen? But, what if I fail?

    These are all questions every aspiring entrepreneur has asked himself/herself at some point. And, not knowing how to answer these has kept many ideas from ever leaving our heads.  This is tidak bagus!

    Which is why, in this class, we're going to learn how to make things happen by going through the process of idea to execution. We will learn how to validate and design a project while making sure it's financially viable. Understanding the importance of good team dynamics and learning to embrace failure will be critical to our success.


  • A study of monetary systems and how people get their hands on capital, from the poorest to the richest.
